York Hemp Freedom Rally Takes Place Next Saturday on Continental Square
The York Hemp Freedom Rally will feature author and event sponsor
Les Stark along with other notable speakers bringing knowledge, awareness and support for Senate Bill 528, also known as the Regulate Marijuana Act, introduced by state Senator Daylin Leach of Montgomery County.
For nearly two decades, Les Stark has been educating agriculturalists, historical societies and community groups about the rich industrial history of hemp farming across eastern and central Pennsylvania. That activity led to the formation of his Pennsylvania Hempland Security group, which for the past year has branched into advocating for the full legalization of marijuana for spiritual, medicinal, industrial and recreational uses.
On Saturday, July 27th, Les Stark will be in downtown York on Continental Square from 3-5p for the York leg of the Hemp Freedom Tour. Joining Les will be guest speakers William Cooke, a former Baltimore prosecutor who now works as a defense attorney for the national group Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, York County Libertarian Party spokesman and city council candidate Manuel Gomez, Connie Guy – former mayor of Mountville, Pa – representing Lancaster NORML, Derek Rosenzweig – representing Philadelphia NORML, Philadelphia comedian/activist duo N.A Poe and the Panic Hour and more.
Here’s an exclusive interview with York Hemp Freedom Rally organizer Les Stark. We hope to see you all at the rally this upcoming Saturday.
